Legal Agreement for using Veloop.app
Veloop.app is an application and service provided by Studio Serafin. By downloading, accessing, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1Acceptance of Terms
By using Veloop.app, you accept these terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to the terms, you may not use the service. Studio Serafin reserves the right to update these terms as necessary to reflect changes to our platform.
2Subscriptions and Purchases
Veloop offers free and paid features (e.g., Basis, Flyt, Premium). Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Studio Serafin reserves the right to modify subscription content, introduce new features, remove existing functionality, or adjust pricing at any time. Users will be notified of material changes before their next billing cycle.
3User Behavior and Guidelines
Veloop provides functionality to share lists and content with others. You agree to use the service responsibly. Abuse of the sharing functionality, such as sending spam, harassment, or sharing inappropriate or illegal content, constitutes a serious violation of these terms. Studio Serafin reserves the right to suspend or permanently delete user accounts that violate these guidelines, without prior notice.
4Privacy and Data Processing
We take your privacy seriously. Detailed information regarding which data we store in our databases (via Supabase) and how we protect your information is outlined in a separate Privacy Policy. By accepting these terms, you also acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
5Limitation of Liability
The app and services are provided "as is" and "as available". Studio Serafin disclaims any and all liability for direct, indirect, or incidental damages, data loss, or issues arising from the use of Veloop.app. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted across all devices.
6Veloop AI & Generative AI
Veloop utilizes generative artificial intelligence (including third-party solutions such as Google Gemini) to provide features like meal suggestions, automatic categorization, and other smart services. By using these features, you acknowledge that AI can generate erroneous, incomplete, or outdated information (known as "hallucinations"). Studio Serafin is not responsible for AI-generated content, including but not limited to recipes, ingredient lists, or price estimates.
7Third-Party Solutions and Monitoring
We use selected third-party solutions for operations, error handling, and analytics (such as Supabase, Sentry, and Google). These tools help us ensure a stable and error-free service. We take privacy seriously and never share IP addresses or directly personally identifiable information (PII) with these partners for their own use or model training.
8Apple App Store EULA - Acknowledgment
This agreement is concluded exclusively between you (the end user) and Studio Serafin, and not with Apple Inc. Studio Serafin is solely responsible for the Veloop.app application and its content, not Apple.
9Apple App Store EULA - Maintenance and Warranty
Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the app. Any claims regarding warranties, product liability, or intellectual property infringement must be directed exclusively to Studio Serafin. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
10Apple as a Third-Party Beneficiary
You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this End User License Agreement, and that Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce the terms against you.
11Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall primarily be resolved amicably. Disagreements and disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be settled in the court system with the Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett) as the legal venue.
